In Wardrobe, object and light are employed to investigate dreams and illusion. What appears to be ordinary from one viewpoint appears transformed from another.

The object has the ability to appear solid and impenetrable from one view, but with a minor change of position of the observer, appears transparent, as if composed of many twinkling points of light. From a distance, these are not easily apparent, and may appear as glitter on the surface of the wood, but on closer viewing can be seen to come from within the wardrobe, and when viewed close up, the very surface of the wardrobe seems to dissolve.
